Class Experience

Learners will learn new vocabulary such as the word dissolve.
Learners will gain a better understanding on how to conduct experiments.
Learners will gain a better understanding on how to make scientific observations.
Required Materials: 4 clear containers (any clear container will do as long as you can see from the side) Peppermint candies OR candy canes Cooking oil White distilled vinegar Hot water Cold water Optional bonus liquid of their choosing for 5th container
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to assist their learners in pouring the hot water into the container. This water will need to be hot in order for the experiment to work properly.
