In this one-time class, students can dress up to show and tell their Halloween costumes, listen to the story Peppa's GIANT Pumpkin, and draw and decorate a pumpkin picture!

In this class, learners are encouraged to come dressed in any Halloween costume! Each learner will have a turn to share and talk about their costume with their classmates. We will read the story "Peppa's GIANT Pumpkin". Students will learn to draw a pumpkin and will then decorate their pumpkin to look like a Jack-O-Lantern! Students can choose to decorate the pumpkin they drew in class, or they can color and decorate the pumpkin coloring page provided. Students can choose to draw on their pumpkin with crayons or markers. They can choose to decorate their pumpkin with stickers (that they already have at home) or shape print outs (that will be provided prior to class).
Learning Goals
Students will learn to make a connection with a story by drawing and decorating a pumpkin picture, just like Peppa!

Blank paper Pencil, crayons/markers (to color and decorate their pumpkin) Pumpkin print out coloring page Pumpkin shape print out page (optional) Stickers or anything else students would like to decorate their pumpkin picture (optional) Glue (optional) Learners are encouraged to come to class dressed in a costume that they can show and share with the class!
