Do you love Peppa Pig as much as I do? In this fun thirty minute class we will read the story “Peppa Pigs Pizza Party.” We will also see some silly clips of Peppa pig videos. As a class we will talk about all the pizza possibilities we love and share with each other. Students will be able to share with the group. This class will be sure to encourage strategies that good readers use AND encourage collaborative conversations with their peers! This class does not require any prior background knowledge. A coloring sheet will be provided as a PDF.

Hi! I am currently working as a literacy coach at an Elementary school in Florida. Prior to this position I taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. My heart is in reading instruction and working with kiddos that think they may not be a good reader and getting them to realize they CAN do it - I struggled with reading as a child and didn't ilke it which is what drives me to do what I do now. I am constantly reading about what's new and best practice for reading instruction. With that said, I will be teaching lessons on phonics skills, vocabulary development, and comprehension strategies. I also love science content so I hope to incorporate some science based lessons as well! I believe ALL students are capable and it's just about finding the right balance. As for a fun fact about myself... I prefer to be busy over lounging around my house --- my two boys keep me busy and we love being at the beach or exploring!Reviews
