Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Nouns are everywhere! Join in this class and we will have fun searching for nouns. Students will enjoy interacting with their peers while we find nouns around us. Your child is welcome to bring one of their favorite things to class for us to discuss!

We will put it all together and use nouns in sentences. Students will have fun creating silly sentences by adding nouns. Then they will practice identifying nouns in complete sentences. This is a great way to improve sentence writing skills.

We will have fun playing and learning!!

Bachelor's Degree in Education from Blue Mountain University
Hi! My name is Andrea and I love teaching! I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary education which I have used in many different environments, from elementary and special education classrooms to homeschooling my own three children. I have spent time teaching and volunteering at homeschool co-op groups. Currently I am teaching ESL in an online classroom. Regardless of the classroom format, I enjoy helping children learn and reach their full potential!

Your student will have fun learning in my classroom! I enjoy teaching with lots of interactive games and teamwork! We will work on important foundational skills in my favorite subjects; reading and language arts. I want to help your student to become an independent learner by asking thoughtful questions and finding creative solutions.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband and three children ages 14, 11, and 9. We love to read together, take walks, and play soccer.
