Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
In this class, the learners will learn about penguins and polar bears. Many childrens' books show penguins and polar bears living in the same place when they really don't. We will begin class by learning what the students know about penguins and polar bears. Then the students will learn where polar bears and the cold climate penguins live. They will find their homes on a map. They will also learn what they eat, how they keep warm, how they get food, and how they protect their babies. The students will take turns talking about what they learned at the end of class. There will be pictures and short sentences about each topic.
