In this one time class, students will learn all about Penguins as well as how to draw a cute little penguin. The class will start off with learning about what Penguins eat, where they live, fun facts about Penguins, as well as the different types of penguins. Towards the end of class, students will be directed through steps on how to draw a penguin. This class will also include some movement in the form of dance. I am a big believer in getting students to move and engaging them as much as possible. Students will interact with myself and others by sharing what they may already know about penguins, as well as sharing their drawings at the end of class. Students need no prior experience or knowledge for this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn all about Penguins and how to draw one by the end of the class.
