Description

Class Experience

Students will listen to stories and ask and answer questions throughout the readings, practice taking turns talking, listening and sharing observations about penguins. We will also work on our fine motor and listening skills as we learn parts of a penguin and build, step by step, a simple penguin of our own.
 2 files available upon enrollment
Please print out the 1) Penguin Labeling Sheet and the 2) Make a Penguin printables * so we can work together on these activities during class. *If your child will prefer to paste the penguin parts words into the correct spaces instead of trying to write them, please have the 6 vocabulary words cut out before class. And, if a printer is not available we can work on the penguin labeling activity on screen and you can draw and cut out the simple shapes to make the penguin on paper at home. ** It's not mandatory that your learner participate in each activity. If they prefer to observe and complete the projects after class, that's OK too!
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Because of the age of the class I recommend a grown up be within "ear-shot" to help with any technical hiccups (mic and video) that might come up.
