Pencil Sketching: Valentine's Day's Gift Special - Kittens In A Cup
Students will sketch an animal couple to make Valentine's Day cards or gifts. This class will teach a variety of shading techniques to introduce concepts of value, shapes and forms, and how tone operates in animal portraits.

Class Experience
Students will learn techniques: Shading Value Grayscale Framing Smudging Layering Hatching/ cross hatching
Paper Pencil (a variety of graphite pencils recommended, but not mandatory) Eraser Blending tools such as tissue paper, Q-tips and cotton balls, etc.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
