Students will sketch mommy and daughter portrait to make Mother's Day cards or gifts. This class will teach a variety of shading techniques to introduce concepts of value, shapes and forms, and how tone operates in portraits.
Class experience
Students will learn a different array of basic pencil techniques to sketch portraits. They will follow a step-by-step approach using basic shapes to sketch out human figures in line. They will proceed to discover the various relationships between the lines, shapes and proportions of the figures.
