Pencil Sketching: Mother's Day's Gift Special - Mommy and Daughter Portrait
Students will sketch mommy and daughter portrait to make Mother's Day cards or gifts. This class will teach a variety of shading techniques to introduce concepts of value, shapes and forms, and how tone operates in portraits.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn techniques: Shading Value Grayscale Framing Smudging Layering Hatching/ cross hatching
Paper Pencil (a variety of graphite pencils recommended, but not mandatory) Eraser Blending tools: Toilet paper, tissue, Q-Tips, or blending art tool
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
