This on-going class meets once a week. Students will sketch animals using basic shapes and shading techniques. Students will learn art concepts including soft strokes, values, proportions, shading and blending.
Class experience
This class is an ongoing format. Students will sketch a new animal every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Prior attendance and knowledge of the subject is not required to attend. Each class will follow the step-by-step process: 1. Students will sketch realistic animals using basic shapes and shading techniques. They will gain the basic knowledge about the approach and knowledge about the anatomy of each species. This will train beginners to develop observational drawing skills on the characteristics of different animals.
