Peanut Butter Flavored Dog Treats Gift in a Jar
Class experience
In this one time class we will make a jar gift set for our favorite dog(s) or dog lover. This gift is perfect for any dog lover who likes to bake. We will put all the dry ingredients in the jar, write down the recipe for the person receiving the gift and finalize the gift by tying on the cookie cutter and recipe. I have multiple rescue animals, including dogs. I love baking for my dogs and giving them gifts for the holiday.
Ribbon or string of choice for tying cookie cutter and recipe to jar Paper for writing the recipe 1 quart size mason jar (with lid- screw on lid is fine) cookie cutter (dog bones or holiday cookie cutters are super cute, but any work) Flour ( whole-wheat or oat works great) Cinnamon baking powder a large mouth funnel is helpful in putting the ingredients in the jar, but not mandatory measuring spoons for measuring out the ingredients into your jar scissors for cutting your ribbon 3 pieces of fleece approximately 1-2 inches wide and 2-3 feet long (smaller size for smaller dogs.)
Students will not be using the oven, as we will only be making the gift, not the dog biscuits. The only sharp items they will be using is scissors to cut the ribbon or string for tying the cookie cutter and recipe to the jar.
