Menu: Peach Cobbler The first 5-10 minutes of each class will be dedicated to a quick discussion to discuss any class rules, kitchen safety guideline, meal prep tasks, as well as the background behind the history of each meal and the technique(s) that will be used during the prep and cooking process. We will follow the prep and cooking times detailed in the recipes that will be sent out prior to the beginning of the class, however be prepared for some adjustments with ingredients and baking times. As we follow along alternative ingredients, will also be discussed and sometimes added, depending on the individual student's preference. Due to these possible adjustments or additional ingredients, it is highly suggested that the changes be written down on the recipes that are sent out. Throughout the baking, each student will have the opportunity to ask questions, suggestions, or ask for assistant with their dessert. This is an open discussion session, so questions will be asked to gauge the students attention, and to help guide than with their creative nature as they make their painting their own. These sessions are geared towards all basic levels. As long as students are open to experimenting with new techniques and creating tasty dishes, you will enjoy the class.
Learning Goals
Bakers will learn how to:
*mix a homemade peach cobbler and/or Egg Rolls
*mix and layer ingredients including the filling and crust
*kitchen measurement and calculations
*baking techniques for a Cream Cheese Sauce

Since we will be using the stove top, oven and knives, parental supervision is advised if any assistance is need.
Supply List
The ingredient list and recipe will be sent prior to the class starting. All ingredients can be purchase at your local farmer's markets and grocery stores. TOOL LIST 1.A big/ medium bowl 2. 2-3 small prep bowls 3. A pot 4. Cutting board 5. Butter knife 6. a can opener 7. An long aluminum baking dish or metal/glass baking dish 9 X 13 inches 8. Rubber spatula/ spoon
