This is an ongoing class. Your child will be taught yoga postures, sing songs, participate in mindfulness activities, dabble with meditation, and begin understanding how the breath can help control big feelings. This class is built to promote stress relief, improve flexibility, increase strength, and most importantly, have fun! Children will also participate in a short Peaceful Garden (guided meditation) before closing the class. There will be several opportunities to ask questions, discuss thoughts and share with classmates. The class will be dismissed after a final breathing activity or meditation and the goodbye circle. *Occasionally, your child may be asked to bring items to class to help with activities.* January Class Theme: Snowflakes, Sledding, and all things Winter! February Class Themes: Animal Planet, What's for Dinner, Tropical Island. March Class Themes: Smile, Leaping Leprechauns, Dr. Seuss, What’s the Weather. April: Eclipse, What’s the Weather?

Parental Guidance
You understand that yoga includes physical movement and, as is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. By participating, you acknowledge that your child is fit to do so. If they experience any pain or discomfort, they agree to listen to their body, and discontinue the activity. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may occur through participation. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Ms. Amber is the founder of Flow On The Go, LLC. She is a certified, children's yoga teacher training program. Ms. Amber is also a 500hr registered yoga teacher (RYT). Prior to teaching yoga to children, Ms. Amber worked as a physical therapist assistant helping children with special needs for over 15 years. She continually strives to learn all she can to help children reach their fullest potential.
