Please note that Pax Journey Home is the sequel to Pax and it would be advisable to read in order. In our lively and positive study of the novel PAX Journey Home by Sara Pennypacker, learners will be actively involved in discussions based on the exposition of this New York Times best-selling novel set after a war time and is written in alternating chapters told by Peter, a main character boy, and his best friend, Pax, his fox. This story mixes the loyalty and love people and their animals...

Discussions of long-lasting negative outcomes of war occurs in the book and how nobody wins in a war however this book is based after the war has concluded and has a powerful message of cleaning up the after-effects including cleaning waterways and natural resources.
