Students will learn different mathematical concepts like ordering, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and even higher concepts like money, fractions etc. As this is an ongoing class we will progress from simpler concepts to complex ones. Learners will receive a file to download and print off (lamination suggested) with numicon and number rod shapes. If the learner already has a set of plastic or foam numicons, that's a plus! Learners will receive printables that will need to be printed, laminated and cut out to be able to use in the class. If Numicon set along with pegs and peg board is available, printables will not be required. Small whiteboard and black marker or anything similar to display their work on screen.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
