Class Experience

Are your kids keeping their passwords secure enough?

Selecting an easy to remember password seems like a simple thing to do. But when it comes to protecting your online accounts, there are a few important things to consider before you ‘Lock in’ that special password that is ‘all your own’ and unique to you.

My goal is to provide students with a checklist of what makes a strong password, while engaging them in creative and critical thinking to explore the concepts behind each tip.

It’s important to have a strong password to protect us online. We will work together on an activity that will remind us of one way to check if our password is strong. The stronger our password is, the more difficult it is for someone to pretend to be us.

By the end of the class, students will be able to come up with a creative password that is hard for others to guess but not so complex that they have difficulty remembering it.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Parents and Guardians!

My name is Nehal Jebur and I'm from Vancouver, Canada! I have my Masters degree in Cyber Security from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelors degree in Information Technology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a Diploma in Computer Science from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate from the International TEFL Academy.

I have over 12 years of experience teaching children in daycare schools ages 1-15. I plan lessons and implement a learning plan by preparing an interesting learning environment for the children. I want teaching to enable practical skills in my students that allow them to grow individually and give them new career opportunities. I believe that when we have fun, learning is easy, so I make all lessons easy and interactive!

I offer a variety of classes as I enjoy any opportunity to be creative and expand on many subjects of interest! Contact me anytime to share any classes you would like me teach, for classes you really wanted to take, but didn't fit your schedule, or any feedback.

Thank you for your time and I can't wait to meet your child!
