Description

Class Experience

Students will understand that poetry can come in a variety of forms and learn that they do not always have to rhyme; students will discover some new books they wish to read more in their spare time as well as be given the chance to get feedback on their very own poems. 
I have a Master's Degree in Creative Writing, and from my studies I have been exposed to a variety of powerful poets.I have been teaching English and Creative Writing for 8 years now, and it is truly my passion. 
There is no homework, but students will be allowed to submit to me one poem for personalized feedback. 
A one-page handout will be provided to students in the classroom discussion board. All they need to bring is their creativity!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be allowed to submit to me one poem for personalized feedback. 
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
