Class experience
Does your child like want to learn how to train their new dog or puppy? Do they want to play fun games and learn tricks to play with their dog? This "puptastic" camp will meet 2 times a week for three weeks. It will consist of basic obedience for dogs and puppies using positive methods. We will share our pups and various dog breeds and discuss how to care for your dog. Learners will learn how to teach their dogs basic commands and tricks. They will become better aware of the dog-human bond. Also, they will learn about the basic rules of dog ownership.
Teacher is credentialed with a Multiple Subject Credential in Elementary Education. Teacher has taught dog training for many years in basic dog training, therapy dog training and puppy training in person to adults and children on Outschool. Teacher is an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and tester observer with Alliance of Therapy Dogs and has trained and certified five therapy dogs of her own.

Parental guidance will be required for this class. Pets are sometimes unpredictable and also space is required for this class.
