Projects
Students are encouraged to take notes throughout the class. This helps with English language skills as well as memorizing the fast facts we learn about each planet. When there is time, hands on projects are created in the class. These projects include but are not limited to: finger puppets, rocket launch, and coloring projects. The only materials needed with these projects are the class printout, something to write with, something to color with, glue and/or tape. The rocket project on the Earth lesson will need a straw. Experiments performed by the teacher will be shown in class. The teacher will provide a plan and steps for the students would need if they would like to try the project at home on their own after class.
Certificate of Completion
A personalized Certificate will be sent to each student who makes it through at least 8 of the 9 party planets classes.

Hello!
Welcome to my teacher page! My name is Mackenzie and I am a mother to 3 kids who also enjoy Outschool classes. I was born and raised in Arizona, but now live in the cold midwest. (and LOVE it!)
I also LOVE teaching. Teaching is truly my passion. I have experience teaching students ages 2-18. For the last 7+ years I have been teaching online. I have taught students and teachers from all over the world! I also have volunteered with my local YMCA to create youth enrichment classes that involve art, physical education, music, science, and more. I have coached youth basketball, volleyball, and cheer! Music is also something I love to do. I can play the guitar, trumpet, and a little bit of the piano. While I love to teach, I also love learning new things.
I have am a state certified teacher with a valid teaching license. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-8 Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University. I have a TESOL certificate from Arizona State University.
