In this class, students will make a gingerbread girl or boy as they learn the parts of the body in French. Students will be sent a manipulative to use in class prior to the class meeting. As a class, we will learn the words for gingerbread, boy, girl, head, face, eyes, nose, mouth, arms, legs, body, stomach, buttons, shirt, shorts, shirt, bow, bow tie, and hair. In addition, students will learn the primary colors in French. At the end of class, they will present their gingerbread boy or girl in French!
Learning Goals
Students will use body parts and colors in French to describe the gingerbread boy or girl they create with the teacher in class.

Please print the notes sheet and activity sheet sent to students prior to class. Please bring crayons, markers, or colored pencils as well.
