Description

Class Experience

In each week I will teach a different part of speech including nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and pronouns.  After the part of the speech is taught, I will check for understanding by having the students collectively fill out a story (that are like Mad Libs).  The class will end with the short story being read out loud.  The very last class will have a skit that we will fill out by using different parts of speech, and then the students can act it out.

Students will learn about different areas of the speech and see where they are used in a sentence.

There is no homework.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
