Class Experience

In this class, students will engage in a quick review of the Parts of Speech. They will then collaborate to create a comic, using the Parts of Speech. Additionally, students are invited to create their own Comic and share with the teacher following the class. I would love to see the learned skills and students' creativity to create their own masterpiece.

Learning Goals

Students will use the review and use the Parts of Speech to create a short piece of writing.

    Teacher expertise and credentials
My educational philosophy is that all children are unique and entitled to a stimulating educational environment where they can grow academically, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of classroom community where students can meet their full potential. I strive to provide a safe environment where students are encouraged to build relationships.

I believe that there are 4 essential components that are conducive to learning. (1) The teacher's role is to act as a facilitator. (2) The classroom is a community. (3) Students should be given choice and flexibility in learning opportunities and modalities. (4) Technology must be incorporated into the school day as a purposeful tool.
