Description

Class Experience

In this class we will be learning and putting the parts of speech into action. The students will work together to come up with nouns, verbs and adjectives. We can find nouns around the house, describe our nouns to get our adjectives and then have fun acting out the verbs! After we have our parts of speech, the students will choose one word from each list and draw a silly picture that represents those words. For example, if I choose cake, swim and happy, I could draw a happy cake swimming!...

Students will not only be able to identify a noun, verb and adjective, they will also be able to put it into practice. If the student is of writing age, they will not only draw a picture relating to their words, they will also craft a complete sentence.

Each student only needs to bring blank paper and something to write/draw with.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
