This 8-session course is designed to provide learners with a basic introduction or solid review of the eight parts of speech. Students will practice identifying and using each part of speech, giving them the chance to review these basics before turning their attention to new grammar studies in the coming school year. My teaching style is gentle and encouraging, and I use a variety of learning materials in my classes. These materials may include slide presentations, worksheets, collaborative classwork, word puzzles, or other games. If your learner is outside the ages listed, but you believe this class would be beneficial, please reach out and let me know. Together we can decide if the class would be suitable. Learning Goals
Students will learn to identify and properly use the eight parts of speech. They will use this knowledge to write their own interesting and descriptive sentences.
