This is a condensed version of my popular Parts of Speech and Sentence Construction class. It is designed to fit into a four week schedule. It moves very fast. If your learner knows little to nothing about grammar they should fine. Learning is reinforced with a fun grammar game. Week 1 Nouns, pronouns, and adjectives will be covered with homework assigned for each due the following week. Week 2 Verbs, adverbs, and articles will be covered with homework assigned for each due the following week. Week 3 Prepositions, interjections, and conjunctions will be covered with homework assigned for each due the following week. Week 4 will be an overview of the class with a review and assessment of learning. Each weekly class will have a mini lesson on how to punctuate each part of speech where necessary. I have also added a lesson each week on sentence diagramming. Week 4: The conjunction lesson will also cover phrases and clauses as they are necessary to understand conjunctions and sentence construction. The 1 to 2 hour time used outside of class will be for the learner to complete the assigned homework, which will be multiple choice. The noun worksheet is the only assignment that is not multiple choice.

Homework worksheets will be provided each week for the learner to complete for the following week's class. We will check the homework before class each week.
