Parts of speech and fluency are two components of English that should continually be practiced, but often get neglected due to the many standards needing to be taught at the elementary level. In this ongoing class, we will review nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs to create a different Pokémon-themed story each week. Learners will master the meanings of a noun, verb, adjective, and adverb in order to be able to come up with their own examples. Learners will also practice fluency and intonation of voice by reading parts of a passage.
