Each week learners will be welcomed and introduced to the theme of the week. Students can choose to watch a very short video of the theme or we can discuss together. Students will be given a choice of which game they would like to play first to practice the target skill that week. This class is great for reviewing the parts of speech. We will then introduce the different forms of punctuation and their uses. We will cover the five rules of using punctuation. Lastly we will practice correcting sentences to have the correct punctuation. It can help with writing skills. It is the hope that students will learn to write better sentences and paragraphs. It is designed to use games and activities to keep the learners interest. The games consist of "tic tac toe", boom card games, bingo, and more! Each week a worksheet or activity will be sent home incase you student wants to practice.
