Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 6

In this class learners will practice the parts of speech through games and simple engaging activities. 

Each week learners will be welcomed and introduced to the theme of the week.
Students can choose to watch a very short video of the theme or we can discuss together.
Students will be given a choice of which game they would like to play first to practice the target skill that week. 

This class is great for reviewing the parts of speech. We will then introduce the different forms of punctuation and their uses. We will cover the five rules of using punctuation. Lastly we will practice correcting sentences to have the correct punctuation. It can help with writing skills. It is the hope that students will learn to write better sentences and paragraphs. It is designed to use games and activities to keep the learners interest. 

The games consist of "tic tac toe", boom card games, bingo, and more!

Each week a worksheet or activity will be sent home incase you student wants to practice.

Students will become comfortable with all parts of speech and punctuation to write better sentences or paragraphs.

Hello Outschool Families,

Four years ago, After a couple decades of teaching in some beautiful schools with amazing students,  I decided to make a change. I left behind the "brick and mortar" schools for the online school community. I could not be happier. The online school community still has beautiful schools with amazing students.

I am so happy I made the change. I love teaching or tutoring online. I love connecting with students. I love using games, stories and props to teach students English, Math and English as a Second Language.

I love seeing children learn at their pace. I love seeing the confidence boost in children when they succeed. I love hearing how my lessons have helped children all over the world.
