This class requires a pair to attend. The pair can be two siblings or two friends. Yoga poses will be taught in the form of story telling. We are pretending to walk through a forest where we meet many animals. We will mimic the animal moves such as how they look like when they are sleeping, walking, running and flying. The animal movements are in the form of Yoga poses. The children will practice breathing as they move into the poses. They will move into partner poses too. We will end the...
A stuffed animal for each child. A soft ball the size of a basket ball.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class involve two people to work together in a mindful way so they can support each other in some challenging Yoga poses. Please provide a space free from tripping hazard and sharp objects. Soft floor is recommended. yoga mats are not necessary. Children can choose to go barefoot. If they choose to wear socks, it is important that the socks have rubber dots at the bottom to avoid slipping.
