Class Experience

By the last class, learners will be able to identify adjectives, verbs, propositions, adverbs, and clauses. They will also learn how to use simile, metaphor, and alliteration to compliment their writing.
As well as:
-understand how their writing can be improved
-create their own tales from story prompts and topics
-share stories with classmates
-strengthen public speaking skills
-learn to build stronger sentences using IEW stylistic techniques
In each class, students will write their own creative tale from story prompts and topics chosen by the teacher. If the student does not finish the story in class, they will finish it and submit it to the classroom page outside of class time.
pen, paper, worksheets available on the classroom page
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students should keep all stories age-appropriate and free from offensive material.
pen, paper, worksheets, google docs (if preferred)
