Class Experience

In this class you will learn how to create an Escape Room using Google Forms! I will provide you with a template that we will work on together while creating an escape room. I will also provide you with a number of different resources for you to use as clues within your own escape room. Our class will begin with a short example of what a digital escape room looks like and then we will start to build one together. Students will learn how to add pictures, clues, sections, and answer codes to their form. I will teach them how to "lock" each room, preventing anyone from moving on until they have answered correctly.

When class is over, you will leave with a digital escape room that is ready for your friends and family to play!

(You will need a free Google Account for this class.) If you are using a Google Account from your school, it may restrict access to some of the links.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will need access to a Google Account during the class. It is best if you DO NOT use an account associated with your school. If you could use a parent's Google Account, that would be ideal. Sometimes the links do not work properly on school accounts.
Supply List
We will use these links in class. Please do not start before class so we can explore these together!

I love Escape Rooms and any time I use them in my classes, my students always enjoy them too! I have used these digital escape rooms in my class for a number of years and have seen how powerful they can be in student learning! I have taught Education Technology to students for 10+ years and love to help them create new things through the use of tech. I use a "We Do, You Do" approach to teaching! I will show them a skill and we will do them together, and then they will do it on their own!
