Each class, we will learn a combination of Kanji characters, Hiragana letters, a new grammar principle, and new adjectives, nouns, and verbs.
Class experience
This ongoing course will be created in such a way that you can jump in and out at your own convenience but still be able to learn new Japanese words, phrases, and grammar principles without having to have participated in a previous class. In each 45 minute course, we will learn a Kanji character with proper stroke order, one row of Hiragana or Katakana characters, a new grammar principle, as well as a new adjective, five new nouns, and one new verb each class. This class is taught in English.
Writing materials will be critical for the character learning section of class. A thick marker on white paper is probably best for learning proper stroke and order, but a pencil or pen on paper is fine as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
