          🇫🇷 HOW DO I DETERMINE IF THIS CLASS LEVEL IS CORRECT FOR MY LEARNER? 🇫🇷
==========================================================================

All of our Level 1 classes are for beginners or with learners with a very limited knowledge and exposure to the French language. We have two level 1 classes -- One for ages 5-8 and the other for 9-13 year olds.
If your learner had French language learning background or if they attend French immersion school (or attend French classes at school) or have a parents who speaks French to them at home, we suggest trying Level 2 or Level 3. Feel free to contact us for further clarification!

We will learn French vocabulary words all the while incorporating fun!

Students will be encouraged to learn through repetition, movement songs and games!

Various studies suggest that learning a second language boosts problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills, in addition to improving memory and concentration. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced creativity and mental flexibility.
I will be interacting with students with a steady mix of English and French in order to prepare the young ear for language learning and meaningful application.

Week by week, we will learn new words while exploring various themes.

==============================
🇫🇷 WHAT SETS US APART? 🇫🇷
==============================
We teach french in a thematic way , however learners need a few weeks to absorb the vocabulary and to be able to use it in a sentence.

We work on building confidence while learning a new language. The objective is not to memorize french words , but to be able to understand AND express themselves in French as we progress through the topics.

We present a topic for 3 consecutive weeks, in various ways!

Example ;

Topic of : 'FARM ANIMALS' / Les animaux de la ferme

Week 1 of Les animaux de la ferme: Presentation of new vocabulary words, practice of pronuncation through repetition, mini songs and movement.
Week 2 of Les animaux de la ferme: Vocabulary review through memory games, pronuncation practice and presentation of adjectives to describe farm animals
Week 3 of Les animaux de la ferme: Vocabulary and Adjective review + Sentence practice using adjectives and verbs that we learned.

Following this week, we will move on to another topic while revisiting the topics through pictures and stories.
