Hello parents and welcome to The Classroom Corner where we CRAFT, SING, and DANCE all while learning everything Elementary Education related! Social skills, fitness, reading and much, much more! A little bit about myself:
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University
Teaching certificate - Early Childhood-6th grade, English as a Second Language, GT
8+ years teaching in Pre-K through 5th grade
200+ hours of extra training in early age behavior, curriculum, ESL, GT, and fitness. 
In search of bringing my classroom experience to kids all around the world through an immersive online learning experience!

 In my courses, students will be emerged in a hands-on world of learning! I use hands-on crafts, activities, singing and dancing (AKA:  TPR (Total Physical Response - using hand movements and dance moves to enhance the memory during a lesson)) to engage and motivate my students. 
For the past 8 years in a public school classroom, I have used singing and TPR in every single lesson I teach. Each year results show that my students are more capable of remembering key vocabulary and concepts, while applying what they've have learned to realistic situations. 

My goal is to pass along my knowledge and inspire the minds of kids through an immersive online classroom.  Studies show that children who have a solid foundation of basic reading and social skills are more likely to succeed as they grow into independent adults.
