Join this writing class as we focus on how to write a persuasive paragraph with supporting details using our love for all things magic.
Class experience
Students will enjoy this live class because we all get to discuss wizards, witches, magical creatures and favorite magical powers. In order to get learners to want to write, we need to pick a topic they are interested in. Once they understand the logistics of writing, they will be able to write on any topic. At the beginning of the class, we will play an ice breaker game discussing our favorite spells, magical creatures, and book characters. We will use these ideas to create prompts for...
The class will cover the format of a basic paragraph with a main idea, supporting details and a conclusion sentence proving that idea. Students will learn how to write that paragraph using magic themed prompts.
