Class Experience
Is your learner overwhelmed by the thought of organizing thoughts and writing a paragraph? Do you have a younger learner who loves to write? This course is perfect for either student! In this semester long class your learner will gain confidence in their writing skills in a fun, easy to follow manner. Students will learn the three types of paragraphs: opinion, informative, and narrative. With fun writing prompts that kids enjoy, learners will love writing in no time! I teach the same...
Students will learn to organize their thoughts, draft and finalize 3 types of paragraphs: opinion, informative, and narrative.
There may be some work learners will need to finish outside of class, depending on their individual working pace. Students may turn in to me a draft of their paragraph if they would like help with editing. Students will need to turn in their final drafts by the end of each class week.
worksheets will be provided in the classroom to print out and bring to class.
Students may choose to turn in their final drafts by the due date at the end of each class week. I will score each paragraph with a rubric and provide a score. This way, you will be able to track your learner's progress.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
