In this Self-paced course, students will be taught a great approach to paragraph writing. Breaking it down into five simple steps can make the paragraph writing process more manageable and less intimidating for any students!

The Review
-Instructor will review all of the steps in this simple writing paragraph writing process.
  • Students will learn to write a complete paragraph by using a specific format. Students will follow the steps on the to build a paragraph. At the end of the section, students are asked to follow the format independently and email a complete paragraph to the instructor along with any questions.
With over twenty-five years of teaching experience across elementary, middle school, junior high, and high school levels, I have had the pleasure of educating students in a diverse array of subjects, including Reading, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Despite this varied teaching portfolio, my true passion lies in the art of Writing. The ability to guide students in expressing themselves clearly and creatively through writing has always been a deeply rewarding aspect of my career.

Details: Learner will receive a critique of the paragraph that is submitted at the end of class.
Students should be familiar with writing complete sentences.
Paper, Pencil, Pen with Erasable Ink, Dictionary, Thesaurus
Students are encouraged to use resources such as a dictionary, theasaurus, encyclopedia, etc.
