In this one time Paper Craft Class, learners will be shown how to make their own adorable 'Paperchu' (Paper Pikachu) toy. This class is perfect for any crafty Pokemon fan!

Class experience

Students will learn various techniques used to create their paper Pikachu craft such as basic folds and gluing/taping paper together.
Here is the list of everything your learner will need:
-1 or more sheets of colored paper (at least 8.5 in x 11 in (21.59 cm x 27.94 cm) (I used yellow, red, black, white and brown, but your learner is more than welcome to use different colors if they prefer.)
-Glue stick or Tape
-A pencil (for drawing out certain shapes before cutting them)
-A black pen (for drawing on facial details, and other details your learner would like. This can also be to with the pencil if they prefer.)
-A brown marker or crayon (for Pikachu's tail. However this can be in a different color than brown if your learner prefers.)
-A pair of children's scissors
Parents, please note that I'll have students use scissors during this craft, which can be sharp. I definitely recommend the students use children's scissors for safety and easy use.

**Note to the parents: This class does require students to use finger dexterity. I'll be having the student cutting paper in different shapes, gluing/taping paper together, and folding paper in half, diagonally, like an accordion, etc. Although I have designed each project to be done within the time frame of the class, I also know that each child learns at a different pace, works at a different speed, and has different levels of finger dexterity. I also don't know your child or the pace they work at. It is up to you as the parent to decide by looking at the thumbnail if you feel these kinds of projects are too difficult and/or if you're not confident they can complete it in the time frame.**
