Class Experience

In this class, we will make a striped heart together! It's perfect for the student who loves arts and crafts. Students will practice their cutting and gluing skills. By participating in class, they will also be practicing their listening and drawing skills. 

We will introduce everyone and go over rules at the beginning of class and then dive into the art! While cutting, we will have time to talk with one another. 

I love to have fun in class and help everyone feel comfortable.

Students will be able to talk with each other as we work. They will also be able to share their finished projects with one another.

If students cannot yet cut independently, please have a parent nearby.

Parental Guidance

Students will be using scissors and glue. Please be nearby if appropriate for your student.

Supply List

NOTE: If you don't have colored paper, students are welcome to use white paper and color it accordingly.

*3-4 colors of paper (construction, printer, or scrapbook)
*2 sheets of white paper
*scissors
*glue (a stick would be cleaner)
*pencil

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I plan to teach fun and engaging classes related to reading, technology, ASL, and art. If you are interested in a class I don't have scheduled, please reach out! I was an elementary school teacher for three years, a high school seminary teacher for one, and an elementary computer teacher for one. For the past four and a half years, I've been teaching online to allow me to stay home with my children. I've always wanted to be a teacher because I have a love of learning and love working with children. I believe that making learning fun can make it easier. I love singing, reading, and Disney princesses! I'm excited to get to know your child!
