Are you ready for an animal virtual reality adventure? Students will learn how to create an interesting or funny virtual reality animal or dinosaur photo using a smart device. Students will need access to a smart phone, tablet, or other photo taking device that has google.com. PLEASE see supported device list in the Supply Section below. It may also be helpful if parents assist students that may struggle with technology or that want themselves in the photo. Students will be given instructions on how to take a picture of one of the following 3D Augmented Reality animals and dinosaurs using google.com. Students can choose from the following animals: Land animals- tiger, giant panda, leopard, goat, cheetah, pony, brown bear, timber wolf, Shetland pony, python, Arabian horse, raccoon, hedgehog, and deer Water Animals- mallard duck, alligator, great white shark, octopus, angler fish, and sea turtle Birds- macaw, emperor penguin, and eagle Pets- Pomeranian, golden retriever, Labrador, Rottweiler, French bulldog, pug, and cat Students can also choose from the following "Jurassic World" dinosaurs: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Pteranodon, and Parasaurolophus

It may also be helpful if parents assist students that may struggle with technology or that want themselves in the photo. Some older phones and tablets do not support the VR technology. Please see the list of devices which support this in the Supply Section below.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Fernandez. I am excited to be on this learning adventure with you.
I am currently a Reading and Math Specialist at a K-5 school in Arizona. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, along with my first Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my second Master's degree in Leadership and Administration. In addition, I have both Reading and Math Endorsements which allows me to specialize in both subjects.
I will be teaching all subjects at the elementary level including some fun crafts/projects along the way. As a Reading and Math Specialist, I believe all kids are capable of learning! I have a passion for helping struggling students meet their goals through a growth mindset.
