Paleontology Series 3: Dinosaur Vs Dinosaur! Who Would Win? Fighting Adaptations
This class is a part of my Paleontology series. This one-time course will talk about the offensive and defensive adaptations of different dinosaurs. We will then discuss who would win in a battle through a student debate.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about dinosaur adaptations and how they survived in battle. Students will practice reading for a purpose to find text-evidence to support their claims. Students will practice debating skills using evidence learned in this course.
Extra reading and an opinion paragraph template will be provided after class if students wish to explore this topic further.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessment will be given, but personal feedback can be given if asked by the parent.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to passages taken from https://www.kids-dinosaurs.com. There will be no need to go to the website during class.
