This will be a zoom session with students. I will have models and slides on display of fossils. Students can ask me questions. 1st 5 minutes will explain what a Paleontologist is 15 minutes will focus on what a fossil is and how a fossil is made and plate tectonics and what type of rocks to search for fossils in. 10 minutes will be a quick look at the history of Paleontology, including famous Paleontologists like Mary Anning. 10 minutes will focus on modern paleontology The remaining minutes will focus on how kids can actually get into paleontology early, how to join fossil digs and learn.

What paleontology is, its history, how to recognize a fossil. Geology and how to become a paleontologist for those who aspire.
