In this day camp, future paleontologist will be able to use their imagination, while being exposed to different activities about dinosaurs. We will have fun building social skills, reading and completing Science activities throughout this 8 different quests. Future paleontologist, will be taught by two Science and Reading teachers from Cherry Learning Center. Please note that this camp will meet four days a week for two hours each day. Within this camp students will broken into different quest with a teacher. At the beginning of each class, we will meet for our "huddle and icebreaker". During the huddle students will find out what their daily quest is. After the huddle meet-up, students will be assigned to breakout rooms (with a teacher) and begin their quest together. Here's an example breakdown of the daily schedule: 0:00-0:15: Huddle/Icebreaker 0:15-0:45: Quest 1 0:45-1:00: Total Group Huddle (Science experiment) 1:00-2:00: Quest 2 2:00-2:10: Goodbye and Review of the days works Here's an example breakdown of the daily lessons: Monday: What is a paleontologists Tuesday: 7 groups of dinosaurs Wednesday: Mystery of dinosaurs Thursday: Fossils and puts together This class does require supplies, please be sure to check out the supplies list section.

Monday: 1 1/4 cups dirt 1 1/4 cups of flour 3/4 cups salt 1/2 cup sand Water (to moisten) Larger bowl or pan Tuesday: Play doh or clay Wednesday: Toy dinosaur (this can be found at your local Dollar Tree or another store; it does not have to be another fancy) Balloon 1 cup water 1 cup flour Large bowl or pan Thursday: printable (uploaded into the classroom) color or paint of your choice Paper plate (for this activity to be successful it must be a paper plate)

Cherry Learning Center brings to you and your learner, Miss Jerika has taught elementary Science for four years. She has also taught Science at a college level at the local university in her town in Louisiana.
Miss Jasmine is another great teacher with Cherry Learning Center. She has been an elementary P.E. and reading teacher for for three years now. This coming school year, she will be transiting to becoming a second grade and third grade Science teacher in her county.
