YOU'RE INVITED...to a Pajama Party Extravaganza! Join Ms. Amanda for themed pajama parties! We will read different stories then do a step-by-step drawing. Ms. Amanda will help students understand important words from the story, as well as answer important questions about what is happening in the story. Pajamas are optional, but fun! Each week's theme is discussed in the prior class, and the learners can give ideas and input for the types of stories or pictures they'd like to draw. I...
Students will learn key vocabulary from a story. Students will answer 5W + H questions about the story (Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?). Students will listen and follow directions to draw picture.
Students may not finish coloring their drawing in class, so they can always finish coloring after class.
Blank paper Pencil Black marker Coloring utensils (crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
