Pajama Pal Dance Party! Ages 3-6
Put on your pajamas, grab your favorite stuffed animal, and let’s party! Students will socialize with classmates by introducing their stuffed animal, show off their best dance moves, and wind down with a read aloud followed by discussion.

Description
Class Experience
Students will socialize with classmates by showing off their pajamas, and introducing their favorite stuffed animal. We will then have a dance party to burn off some of that extra energy before we wind down with a groovy read aloud. Each student will get the opportunity to reflect on the book, and share any text-to-self connections that were made. Students will improve their social skills, practice reading comprehension through text reflection and sharing real life connections.
I have an elementary education teaching license with a specialization in literacy. I also have successfully hosted many dance parties in the past.
Stuffed animal or doll Pajama Open space for dancing
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
