A fun pajama dance party where we will learn party dances, followed by a social group to practice asking questions and other socializing skills .

Does your child like to dance? Are you looking to help them build social skills during the virtual school year? Great! Come to our weekly pajama dance party for girls! Dancers will play games such as Freeze Dance and improvisational games where they act out characters together. Then, we will practice following directions as we learn a party dance (Cotton Eyed Joe, Cha Cha slide, etc.), Then we will gather for in a themed show-and-tell style gathering. Students will learn fun dance moves and party dances. We will also practice following directions, listening to others, and making presentations.

Please make sure your learner takes the class in an open area where they will not accidentally kick something or put themselves in danger. Ideally, the space would not be slippery, but if it is a slippery surface, it is recommended to use non-stick socks or shoes. Parents and guardians should remain nearby to assist and prevent accidents. Having a water bottle nearby is ideal. If class is taken during warmer months, it is ideal to have an air conditioner or fan running to prevent overheating.
