Class experience
The students will learn fun facts about the different artists in this ongoing class. The students will learn about the art materials the artist used in their art pieces. The students will create an art piece based on the artist we are learning as a class. The students will be using different art materials and techniques. Week 1- Kandinsky Apple pdf Watercolor paint paintbrush Markers Pastels Week 2 -Claude Monet Card stock Paper ( would be the preferred but white paper is okay). Fingerpaint paint ( a variety of finger paint colors)- any colors you want to use. Pom-poms paint brush Masking Tape Precut out tissue paper green-light/dark, blue -light-dark, purple ( would be preferred ) in squares/rectangles - please have a cup to add white glue, a little bit of water added to that cup, and a paintbrush. If you don't have tissue paper pre-cut out squares ( the colors above) using color paper but just have white glue in a cup with a paintbrush Please prepare the tape bridge here an idea -(photo) when signed up and the square/rectangle tissue paper like this. Week 3 Van Gogh - starry night White cardstock / white paper or scrapbook paper Paints-yellow, orange, blue, light blue, white, purple Paintbrushes( skinny, medium size please) Newspaper/paper towels for your table Week 4 - Andy Warhol Campbell Soup Watercolor paper Watercolor paint Paintbrush Black, red and yellow oil pastels Matisse Glue Stick cut a brown oval before class pleases - like the one in the picture as a sample.
