In this ongoing, the students will learn about a new famous artist in each class. The students will be shown the new painting that the artist made. The students can tell what they see in the painting and what they like best about the artist's painting. The students will be doing a new painting art project based on what the artist talked about in class. I will be doing the art project with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art projects to the class. Week 1 Kandinsky (Circles Painting)- The students will make Kandinsky circles with oil pastels and watercolour paints inside apples. Week 2 : Andy Warhol (Soup Cans painting)-The students will be drawing and painting soup cans with watercolour paints. Week 3 : Picassio (Face art piece ): The students will be making a Picasso face art project with tempera paint. Week 4 : Van Gough ( Sunflowers): The student will make sunflowers inspired by Van Gough with oil pastels and watercolour paints.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
