Class Experience
Join Nicole for this fun Flowers in a Vase painting in this 1 time class! Nicole will teach this fun class live in her studio in a step-by-step process. Nicole will show each step on her own canvas and guide each student at their pace. Students will create a painting of a Flowers in a Vase along with Nicole and are encouraged to ask questions to further their understanding of art or to have steps repeated. We will use acrylic paints and brushes to create this painting on canvas or acrylic...
Students will improve their understanding of mixing paints to get the desired color. Students will improve their brush stroke techniques to get the desired textured look. Students will improve their knowledge of blending for a background gradient. Students will improve their shadowing and highlighting skills for painting.
None- students are welcome to add more details to their painting after class.
1. Canvas or Acrylic Paper (8x10, 11x14) 2.Acrylic Paint: Green,Yellow, Blue, Pink, Black, and White 3.painting brushes – I thick,1 medium, I thin. 4. Palette(a paper plate will do), paper towel and cup of water 5. Pencil or Charcoal pencil
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
