Class Experience

Are you a reluctant artist? Well, you are in the right place! Let me show you how to take a few ordinary tools and inexpensive materials and turn them into something spectacular. You don’t need to run out to the closest art store and spend loads of money on fancy paints and implements. These 4 projects are created solely with inexpensive supplies.

These tutorials are perfect for those who have never painted before, or for those with loads of experience. I have been teaching many years and have honed my projects down into manageable and attainable steps. Each tutorial is between roughly 30 to 60 minutes long, feel free to pause and take a little break or spread it out over time.

Every painting will be different, as it should be. Take your time, have a laugh, discover, have happy accidents, change directions, embrace the process. Art feels good! There is loads of room for self expression here. Feel free to let your imagination wander, arrange your subjects in different ways, load up your nest with a bigger clutch of eggs, maybe paint a whole swarm of bees! The point is- this is YOUR painting and whatever you do, you will learn something new and it will be beautiful!

Join me creating this beautiful selection of paintings all especially chosen for the Spring and Summer!

Hi everyone - My name is Anne, and I have been creating art since I was a little girl. As a teen, I took art classes locally as well as in school, but being the oldest of 4 daughters growing up on a farm, art took a back seat to chores and farmwork. It wasn't until I was in my 20’s that I really started to feed my creative needs. I created costuming, props and sets for local theatre productions, and even turned my hand to theatre makeup. I love teaching. I truly believe that with the right instruction, a bit of patience and a lot of encouragement that EVERYONE can be an artist.
