Learners will learn basic terminology in color theory, put that knowledge to use during class, learn useful paint brush strokes, how to clean brushes, how to use paint, mix and blend paint, how to paint a background, alternate ways of painting stars and how to paint colorful whimsical clouds, how to work together, how to compliment each other and their own work, how to learn and have fun at the same time, how to be gentle and patient with themselves and how to build social skills.
I have owned and managed my fine art business since 2008. I have and currently teach painting and crafting classes, classes on tips on how to be a successful artist, I have my Associates in Arts, I have been published in newspapers and online galleries, I have worked on many commissioned art works and continue to do so and exhibited at fine art festivals.
One hour or more prior to class the student will paint a background in any color they choose by watching a youtube video that I have created specifically for this class. Homework will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This is a youtube video I made specifically for this class. It has instructions on how to paint a background on your canvas prior to class. We will need the background completely dry before starting class. It takes approximately an hour to dry completely when using acrylic paints. Please watch it as many times as you need to, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
